We only offer a single standard 15-inch by 15-inch beautifully crafted magnetic chess board with felt lining. This makes choosing the board easy and saves time to choose your fav characters/pieces.
Sure, I am most excited by creating exactly what people want, especially when it means build a new set. I also offer custom laser engraving for our board, so you can add the gift recipient’s name etc.

WattosChessSets likes to help encourage children to learn using Staunton pieces with their favourite characters literally on top.
Very, each piece is hand made by drilling small holes in the Staunton base piece and the character that goes on top and a thin steel rod is super glued inside each part to hold the piece together. Similarly the round wooden disc bases have a steel rod holding their characters on. I have never had a report of a broken piece yet!

Yes. We offer Express Post. Just search for “Express” in our product listings and add it to your cart. This will shorten the international shipping time to a little less than 2 weeks.

Sometimes it happens during shipping. We want to make the ease of replacement as painless as possible. Please see our Replacements and Refunds page for more information. Basically, just send us an email and we will do our best to fix the problem. All of our shipments are insured. We will file a claim with Australia Post and provide you with additional information as needed.
Buying the right chess set is difficult. We get it. Sometimes the item is not what you expected, or something you simply do not want. Yes, you can return your order! It is best to email us first.
You will need to include a copy of the packing slip along with the item and send it back to our return address within 2 weeks of receiving your order. If you want to return it, just ask for a credit. If you want to exchange it, let us know that too.
Please note there is a 10% restocking fee on returned items. Gift Wrap, Shipping, Special Order, and Scratch and Dent are not returnable/refundable. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.
